Overview

Experience two of Jordan’s treasures: The stunning World Wonder, Petra, and the scenic desert landscapes of Wadi Rum.

Head towards Petra; a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with beautiful,
carved vibrant red, white, and pink sandstone ruins. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabateans, a nomadic tribe who settled in the Area and laid foundations there. Explore Al-Siq, the Treasury, the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and the Pharaoh’s Castle.

Later in the day, head towards Wadi Rum; also known as the Valley of the Moon. Wadi Rum is a protected area of dramatic desert wilderness. Huge mountains of sandstone and granite emerge and collide.

Head back to Amman and gaze at the starry night sky along Jordan’s desert landscapes.

Located 225 kilometers from Amman, Petra once dominated the trade routes of ancient Arabia. Head to this World-Wonder in a climate controlled vehicle. Capture the details of the fascinating history of the Nabateans and their city, which was completely carved in store over 2000 years ago, in order to dominate the trade routes of ancient Arabia. Visit the main sites in the area, its towns, damns, and water channels.

This stunning creation begins with a walk through Al-Siq; a long, narrow, and deep pathway of stunning natural beauty and acts as the main entrance to the ancient Nabatean city of Petra. Your eye first sees the Treasury “Al-Khazneh.” The treasury is one of the most elegant remains of antiquity entirely carved deep into the rocks of one side of the mountain, and concealed in a high-walled ellipse of a valley. Almost 40 meters high, it is intricately decorated with Corinthian capitals, friezes, and figures.
You will also see other monuments such as the Monastery, the Altar of sacrifice, Street of Facades, Royal Tombs, and the Roman Theater.

Wadi Rum

A journey to Wadi Rum is a journey to another world; a vast, silent and peaceful area and one of the most stunning desert landscapes in the world. Unique and extraordinary mountains rise from the pink desert sand, which separate one mass from another.

Experience the extraordinary beauty of Wadi Rum as you hike and trundle through the narrow gorges and desert plains past the natural rock bridges and towers. Transfer into a jeep safari with a local Bedouin driver. Explore several sites such as the Nabatean temple, the map of Wadi Rum, the little bridge and the red sand dune. Enjoy the tour in the desert as you visit different impressive sites. You also have the chance for a camel ride across the desert (at your own expense)
