This is a tour that focus' on history of Christianity in Jordan, you will visit the Baptism site of Jesus Christ, Madaba, Mt Nebo and Mukawer before relaxing and floating in the salty waters of the Dead Sea.

Madaba

Your driver will pick you up in the morning from your hotel in Amman and drive to the town Madaba, where you find the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George’s church.

Mount Nebo

After that continue to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the promised land before he died and alleged to be his burial place. You will visit an old monastery; overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land.

After that we continue the trip to Mukawer (Machaerus), the former stronghold of Herod Antipas. This is the place where Herod had ordered theincarceration of St. John the Baptist after the fateful dance of Salome.

Then we will drive towards Baptism Site (Bethany), the place where Jesus Christ was baptized by St. John the Baptist. It is now one of the 3 most important places of pilgrimage in Catholicism
