1. The Amman Citadel
The Amman citadel is one of the spots on the Jordanian capital with the best panoramic views of the city. From this corner you can see the hills that have embraced this city. Another one of the beauties you can see, are the mosques and one of the most incredible moments is when you hear the prayer of the Muslims. Like in most lookouts, the prettiest moments to admire the landscape are in the morning, at dawn, or when the night arrives.

Roman Theatre
2. The Roman Theatre
The Roman Amphitheater of Amman is one of the biggest tourist attractions of Jordan, and also one of the most impressive. It was built in the II century b. C. but the past of time is almost imperceptible, the building is very preserved. The Amphitheater has room for 6,000 people, and from the top of the building the views are amazing. It’s such an amazing building that it has been used as scenario for various movies and advertisements. If you visit Amman, this is a place you have to go without a doubt.

Al Balad – Downtown Amman

Almost everywhere around the world, Downtown is where the primary shops are located and the best of the events take place, it is where everyone wants to hang out and be at, but in Amman, the capital city of Jordan, things are a little different.

Downtown Amman means the old market, the vintage town; it is where you go to shop for fabrics, accessories, you will find antiques amongst electric equipment and vintage furniture, gold and silver, you will find all sorts of vegetables, fruits, meats, herbs, spices, and breads. The cool part is that everything is at half price from the rest of the city, and the best part is that until today, you will feel you have went at least 50 years back in time. Al-Balad (which stands for downtown Amman) is part of Jordan’s heritage, it is part of our culture, and it truly is a one of a kind experience.

Grand Husseini Mosque
4. Grand Husseini Mosque
One of the oldest mosques in Amman, rebuilt by King Abdullah I in 1932 on the site of the one built by the second Caliph, Omar Bin Al-Khattab around 640 AD. Tourists may be able to enter if dressed appropriately. Close to this mosque are two famous souqs: Souq Bukharia (good for getting souvenirs) and Souq Al-Sukar (fruit, vegetables, nuts and spices.)

King Abdullah Mosque
5. King Abdullah Mosque
The King Abdullah’s mosque is one of the most known in the city of Amman, and one of its most representative symbols. It was built during the 1980’s and has room for over 3,000 people. One of its most characteristic elements are its two minarets, which look really futuristic. Its blue dome also makes it unique, and it’s distinguished from the rest of the buildings.If you are interested in the Muslim religion and you have never seen a Mosque, this is your place. You can visit it at concrete schedules, although men and women enter separately. One of the requirements is to go well covered with clothes and the entrance fee is approximately two dinars.

Rainbow Street

Rainbow street is one of the most crowded streets in Amman, the capital of the Jordan Kingdom. It is full of restaurants, coffee places, terraces to eat or drink a coffee. It is also one of the main spots to go shopping, where many of the great brands have installed their shops. Rainbow streets is one of the most prosperous streets in Amman, to receive and serve visitors from anywhere on the world. It is also recommended to travel around by foot, the traffic goes one way and usually it is full, to the top, of cars.

The Royal Tank Museum is a military museum located in Amman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. It is the first of its kind in the Arab world, and one of the largest and most diverse historical museums of tanks in the world. It opened on January 29, 2018. The building has an area of ​​about 20,000 square metres, making it the largest museum in Jordan. (depends of tour option)
