What To Expect

Dead Sea

Meet your English-speaking driver in your hotel lobby in the morning to start the 45-minute drive to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea. On the way you will see some parts of Amman, and your driver will give you chance to take photos whilst stopping to enjoy the view.

When you arrive at sea level, the driver will stop to let you see the map before continuing to drive down 420 meters below sea level. In this time you will feel the change of the weather.

Relax, swim, and bathe in the mud of the Dead Sea which is full of minerals such as sulfur, sodium, potassium, iodine, magnesium, calcium, and bromine. Also see a sunset that you will never ever forget. No trip to Jordan is complete without a visiting the Dead Sea.
